OUR DIVINE GUIDANCE

Our life is precious because the Lord our God will guide us unto His Eternal Glory. "For God is our God for every and ever: he will be our guide even unto death." Psalms 48:14 "Thou (our God) shall guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory." Psalms 73:24

If we be a disciple of Christ, the Lord our God will guide us in this life. Therefore, we should serve the Lord our God so that we can enjoy His Divine Providence which He will give us in this life.

Learn the following truth because your life is precious.

THE NEED FOR OUR GUIDANCE

I. We need the Lord to lead us into the truth because it can make us to be free from our sins. "Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day." Psalms 25:5 Our Lord said, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (from your sins). John 8:31-32

II. We need the Lord to teach us concerning His ways because His ways are different from our ways. "Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies." Psalms 27:11 Our Lord said, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9

III. We need the Lord to help us to do His will because we must do His will so that we can be saved eternally. "Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness." Psalms 143:10 Our Lord said, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them., I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR GUIDANCE

I. We must be led by the Holy Spirit because He is our Leader. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit himself beareth witness with out spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." Romans 8:14-17

II. We need to believe the word of God because it throughly furnishes us unto all good work. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

THE MANNER OF OUR GUIDANCE

I. The Holy Spirit will lead us into all the truth. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come." John 16:13

II. The word of God will teach us to be godly. "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue." 2 Peter 1:3

THE BLESSING OF OUR GUIDANCE

I. The Lord will led us into paths of righteousness. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Psalms 23:1-3

II. The Lord will led us in the way of peace. "To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." Luke 1:77-79

III. The Lord will led us to heaven. "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for your. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:1-3

THE CONCLUSION

I. We in being a New Testament Christian are Divinely Guided in matters of our own individual being of life because we have been created and redeemed by three Heavenly Persons (Personalities or Beings) who equally are called God in being the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and who are called Christ in being the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit so that in this world we can become like Them. Equality signifies that those three Heavenly Persons who equally are called God and Christ in being our Creator and our Redeemer are equal in power, rule and authority in matters of Their Own Individual Being of life because They equally possess the same Divine Personage, Powers, Nature and Attributes of life.

II. The Father and the Son Relationship which exist between God and Christ is the being of a Father-head Figure and an Offspring Status Relationship instead of being two ranked Persons because those three God-Persons, who were called the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, equally made Themselves to work in the Divine Name of Christ in being called the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit so that They could be our Redeemer. Rank means that the Father would be the first Person in power, rule and authority; the Son (Jesus) would be the second Person in power, rule and authority; whereas the Holy Spirit would be the third Person in power, rule and authority.

Revelation 3:21 "And to him will I give power over the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father." Luke 6:36 "He that overcometh (the powers of sin), the same shall be clothed in white raiment (having his Divine Attributes Perfected): and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angles." Revelation 3:5 "For there shall in no wise enter into it (the Heavenly City) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." "The Spirit (the Holy Spirit) Himself beareth witness with our spirit (our character: our personality), that we are the children of God (by creation and by regeneration): And If children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs (equal heirs) with Christ." Romans 8:16-17 This means that in our Heavenly Home all Divine Persons will be equal in power, rule and authority.

F. We in being a New Testament Christian will become equal with those three Heavenly Persons who equally are called God and Christ in being our Creator and our Redeemer because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Heavenly Immortality of life in reference to our own individual nature of life. "Which in his times he shall shew who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords: Who only hath immortality (the Lord in all of His Power and Glory only has immortality, but the Lord has promised to give unto us those same Spiritual Blessings of Immortality), dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen." 1 Timothy 6:15-16 "To them (the Christians) who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life." 1 Romans 2:7 This means that we will be a deathless Person in our Heavenly Home because a Heavenly Person can not die in a physical or in a Spiritual Way.
